Holistic Experience of Life using Spiritual Tools

Life is a journey and not a destination, we have heard this saying many times.

We all strive hard to make the most out of this life by engaging ourselves in different kinds of activities whether it is at a professional or personal level.  Most of us consciously or unconsciously do try to put in efforts in making our life better in whichever way we think is the best.

For many of us I believe we can relate to this that even after putting in so much efforts on an external front still we feel there is something lacking inside and a sense of incompleteness within. So here comes the need for using spiritual tools for a holistic experience of life .As the saying goes “Life is not a destination but a journey”.

Spiritual tools if integrated with our daily life can be a great source of inner rejuvenation and also give us a sense of inner fulfillment. As a table has four legs to make it stable and steady similarly our human life when based on four pillars- Financial, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual, to give us complete
fulfillment. We are not able to only achieve the external targets but also enjoy the process of getting there!

In my previous articles, I have shared few simple and easy spiritual tools which we can apply and integrate with our life. A small step could be a big leap. There is a mass of people who are awakening to this understanding are have taken simple steps to add spiritual aroma into their lives. Let me summarize those tools for our dear readers once again:

• Practicing Gratitude
• Breathing deeply
• Mindful walking
• Journaling
• Spending 10-15 minutes alone time

A holistic experience of life includes a combined fulfillment of inner and outer experience. External fulfillment does come from sense gratification and the path towards inner fulfillment is by using spiritual tools. A balance of our movement and efforts towards the Outer and the Inner shall probably pave the path for a deeper fulfillment and holistic gratification for us!

Best wishes for our dear readers to enjoy the gift of life to the highest possible potential.
Love and Namaskar to All!

Waves, Winds, and Whispers — My Port Blair Story

I travelled to Port Blair with my sister from 28th October to 1st November, 2025. It felt like the perfect time to visit — the weather was pleasantly warm, the skies clear yet gentle, and the sea calm enough to welcome us. Budget-wise too, it was a great decision since it wasn’t the peak tourist season. There was a sense of ease everywhere — in the quiet beaches, in the slow rhythm of the island, and even in our own hearts. This was my first trip with my sister alone, and that made it special from the very beginning. I was excited and curious about what the journey would bring — not just in terms of places to see, but in the bond we would share. My intention was simple: to explore the island together, to laugh, to talk, and in the process, to understand each other a little more deeply. We spent around four nights and five days in Port Blair — a duration that felt just right. More than five days might have felt a bit repetitive since the island doesn’t have a vast number of places to ex...

Embracing the transitions in life with faith

“Change is the only thing that is constant in life.” We, as humans, undergo changes in our day-to-day lives. We experience change as a moment of unsettling and transition into something new. The intensity of change could be a major one whereby we undergo structural and systemic change transforming from one phase of life to another. This pushes us out from a static state of existence to a dynamic ever-changing being. We do feel a certain level of discomfort while going through these transitions, but having faith and hope in our hearts does make a great difference.  Let's take a moment to consider the underlying reasons why a change might be uncomfortable. Changes can represent transience and mortality. One significant transition in human existence that we all go through is death. Every change is a small death in itself, whereby the old dies and the new is born. As humans, we have a tendency to cling to life and have attachment to the existing state, I suppose this is one of the root...
